There are two kinds of toner cartridge of laser printer in the current market.
1. Drum (Drum Unit) Powder (toner powder) integrated: it is a combination of light guide drum, charging roller, developing roller, carbon powder bin and scraper, etc. in a special plastic box.
Advantages: compact structure, small volume, light weight. If the light guide drum can last for a long life, the carbon powder can be added 5-8 times, thereby reducing the cost of single printing.
2. Drum (Drum Unit) powder (toner powder) separation type: it is a combination of the two independent components of the light guide drum and the charging roll, the developing roll and the carbon silo.
Advantages: toner cartridges and carbon cartridges can be replaced separately to facilitate the operation of powder, and the number of powder in the carbon powder box is not restricted by the life of the cartridge.
The components of a cartridge are generally composed of the following components:
Photosensitive drum, magnetic roller, powder cutter, powder silo, sensing rod, waste silo, cleaning scraper and charging roller.
Filling toner is undoubtedly a good way to reduce printing costs, but in filling before, we must first understand the compact (i.e. toner), i.e. cartridges contained within the components are suitable for direct filling toner, only in various parts of the imaging condition, in order to obtain satisfactory printing quality.
